i have a '91 1500 silverado.. I just had my clutch replaced because a bolt broke the pressure plate cracked n everything fell appart.. anyway my clutch pedal now has a lot of play in it and catches REALLY low to the floor... last time i had my motor swapped the same thing happened but eventually fixxed itself? could my master cylinder be bad? the slave cyl is new and i rebled the system but its still pretty bad..

going off general knowledge (don't have a manual in front of me), i don't know for sure but i am almost positive that the slave cylinder system is completely seperate from the master cylinder (brake). I would have to say that you did not get all the air out of the system. Did you bench bleed the slave cylinder (put fluid in and circulate through the slave cylinder) ? If you did not do that there could be a lot of air still left in the system, pain in the a%$, but keep bleeding. if there are any other symptoms besides that post them and i will tell you what i think. hope this helps

the guy that put it in had a bleeder thing i dunno what the hell he did... but i used the old fashioned method of pumpin it 20 times holdin it 2 the floor and loosenin the bleeder bolt.. i did it atleast 10 times n there was no change in the pedal

should i just let all the fluid drain out n redo it all? cause when i put on my slave cyl thats what u gotta do pretty much n it was fine after i did that and even before..
