First finished build this year, even though i started it last year. Its a fujimi mk3 golf rally. Its pretty much box stock except for pe hood pins. Overall its an easy kit to build but the decals gave me so much trouble. First 30% of them cracked as soon as i dipped them in water. To make matters worse they wouldn't want to conform to into position so i used some microsol and then they wrinkled. The paint used was tamiya bright red with no clear coat. Rubbed out with tamiya fine compound. BMF was used on the mirrors.

The way fujimi made the taillights really makes the car look like a toy. They have a grove on the back of the light that shows through, next time i build this one in street form i will sand the back of the light.

I can't see all the pics (my work firewall being annoying) but what I can see looks excellent. Is this a roadcar conversion with custom decals?

The decals came with the kit, i threw out the box already too many that are on my shelves. Freakmech, this is what the box looks like,

Nice work on an unusual subject!
Small point: In the UK the yellow number plate goes on the rear of the car.

Nice build, do you know any history of the car? I don’t know why they always use the four doors rather then the two doors you would think it would be lighter and more nimble but whatever.
