The 1.6 engine is designated 4A-FE. 1.8 is desgnated 7A-FE. The firing order is 1 3 4 2.

But does that mean that the designation is written somewhere on the engine, or where can i find which one is in my car?

if its not a DX or LE model, then its only a 1.6, it should have a DX or LE symbol at the back of the car, if it doesn't then its only a base model with the 1.6
