Cant help on the SC so much..(I have a 98 as well...but not the SC)..but I would assume if you have rattling.....it is out of true...and that would send vibrations...therefore tearing up other parts....I think you getting it fixed is smart.

The ABS light coming on? I bet you have an ABS issue...the traction control ties directly to the ABS.

I dont really agree that Trac off is a good thing. Point and case.....I hit a puddle one day inthe middle of the highway......while in cruise control.....the trac light comes on.....and the cruise shuts off...and the car corrected it's self.

For cruising around.....I think it is great..it really WORKS..for a little race off the light...reach over and turn it off

The rattling sound is the coupler so replacement should take care of it. But with that mileage while the snout is off you might consider new snout bearings and seal.

I do not believe the supercharger and traction control problems are related.

Bob could better answer this...but based on what I have seen....they are outstaning. Everyone seems to like them.

Your abs system is in trouble...thats why the lights on the trac control or lit...and the ABS light is lit. My light has came on before....but, when I turn off the car....it will go away and stay away. Not sure why it happens...but someone will chime up and tell you.

Ernie is doing great on your ABS/Trac problem.

On the SC - Going through ZZP is the best way. They normally have all parts in stock. Plus the coupler is the improved one. Depending on how bad the coupler is worn it will affect supercharger performance. Are you losing boost?

Most of us get aftermarket boost guages to accurately reflect SC boost. Companies like AutoMeter, etc. Easy to install. The meter will obtain the boost reading off of engine vaccum and ties into the MAP sensor vacuum lines.

Checkout PFYC.COM and 3800Performance.COM for various gauges.

How does your engine feel when you accelerate hard or go WOT?

ABS/Trac off light staying on is most likely a bad hub. It will require an ABS capable scanner to pinpoint which wheel is the problem. The wheel speed sensors are part of the hub bearing, so if it's not a wiring issue, you'll have to replace a hub bearing.
