OK I know what i K20 can do but i'm tring to find out more on the K24 frankinstian. like if it mounts the same as the K20 or if i'm gonna have to dish out more money for new engine mounts again and like whats the engine capable of. If i can't hook the engine up it's not really worth it to change over since the specs i seen for the frankinstian only give it more torque.
Anyone know anything about it or seen one?

I relize the concept. it's just like the b20 with the b18 head and the b18 with the b16 head but i'm just wondering if it's worth doing or just stay with the k20.

yes its worth it if you got the funds to do it...I plan to build a k24/k20 motor built for nitrous....wont ever be able to fit a turbo or supercharger in our efs with that swap...sign up to that site i sent in the message before...they have a lot of info that will answer any of your questions I been reading it for a few weeks now so when I do the swap its a lot easier than not knowing anything....

yeah thats my plan. I'm going for modified. think if i made the pieces to do this mod people would buy it? i know i would if they made it. I know people want to turbo the K20 but it just doesn't fit unless you do the remote locate turbo but i don't like those.

shit I even seen a turbo k24/k20 turbo crx in a reg ef....but when they do start coming out those fuckers must rail and probably wont get traction though

Yeah i was thinking about that to. Could see about putting in the AWD drivetran out of the CR-V i think it is but than you sacrafice the 6 speed and i'm not sure how that would change the handleing. It would fix the traction problem though.

Honestly, at this point and time, with the price of a K series engine, the cost and work involved to swap it into an EF, its not worth it... Not when u can still find B series which are much cheaper, be easier to swap to swap in, and still have money left over for boosting it... And be better off HP/Torque wise than a stock K... But mad props to anyone who does do a K swap... Takes alot of time and effort... I just think Ill wait a little while before I try it...
But yea, they will use the same mounts, since your still using the same block... Plus its still a K, so if Honda is still doing like they normally do, im sure all the mounts are basically the same for each series...
