Funny story :)

So tonight me and a lot of good friends went out like every frikin night to get a drink and meet some chick friends. We went out to this huge coffe place where a lot of young pople hang out and started chatting about differnt crap. These asian guys ( I am not racist against asian people !! It happens that they were asians ), started talking about cars a few feet away from us. I am the only one out of my friends to be a car fanatic, so I kinda listened what those guys were saying. So some guy in a CRX beat a GS 10. So i am like WTF ...... GS 10? I was is that some special edition or some shit like that. And they start talking crap and some CRX running low 10 and beat a Viper and I was like OK.. that is kinda possible you know. But then some Hatchback with minimal mods beat a SRT-4 and a GS 10 at the races. The they talk about the turbo nator or some crap like that giving you 20hp and some chips and all kinds of crap.
So I decide to get into the conversation ofcourse. I ask the guy about this GS 10 and he is like, that shit is AWD and its slow as fuck. So I am like oh fuck, he is talking about GS-X.. X as in 10. So i am like, dude its GS-X not GS-10, and he is like , ahhahaha you are an idiot, I have been in my brothers shop for months and I am a expert and you are some street punk. Oh snap, I was gonna drop his stupid ass right there but I play it cool and just laugh.
So he is like, the new evo 10 also known as Evolution-X. So i kinda knew where he got that 10 from. So they start talking about Talon and being a lot powerful then a Eclipse GS 10. So I tell him that they are identical except the outside bumpers and lights. So we talk and I dont want to type it all but I put his sorry ass in the right place and all the poeple around us were laughting at him cause I knew a lot more shit then him. I felt proud after that, and people were like.. Dude you just told off Jah Sam something ( whatever his name was). So after that they get in a Honda Accord Wagon with a huge exhaust and speed off. So I kinda figured by looking at his car and his knoledge , what the term RICER meant :).
Oh and I almost forgot, I saw a Mustang GT about 5 days ago with a cobra engine in it and had Twin turbo setup. I saw the turbo's and they looked like 14B's. The kid said he got em off a junkyard so I think they might be 14b's.
Also he had nothing, no management system, no boost controller, absolutly nothing, except a Diablo Chip ( thats what he said). He was like, I am pushing over 700hp. How is that possible without no management system of any kind or any boost controller ?

Hahaha nice. I love it when people who drive honda's think they know EVERYTHING about DSM's. Just the other night I was in Boardman, OH and there were 2 WRX's and a red EVO sitting in a parking lot...So i pull in to 'chat' with them. I got out, looked at their cars and the one dude with the WRX had his hood popped and was telling me how he dropped a $15,000 transmission into in because 'the stock trannies kept blowing' as he said. Then he continued to tell me how he got a 'huge aftermarket turbo' put on. I asked his what kind of turbo it was he said "oh, i don't know...HKS i think, i can't remember the exact model number..." Then he says "yeah i just went to the local performance shop and told them to install the biggest turbo they had, so that's what they did". So i look at his motor again. Every single thing on the motor was stock. (Keep in mind i'm not the smartest person when it comes to WRX's but i know when a motor is stock). I look at him and say "so you can't remember exactly what kind of HKS turbo you have?" He says "nope, but this thing should run at least 11's by now" I just wanted to laugh in his face, so i say "hmm...HKS GT35R turbo maybe?" He looks at me and says "Ohhhh yeah that's what it is! That model number rings a bell." Right then and there i just wanted to smack him...A GT35R is a Garrett turbo lol.

I don't know about 700 horse. But it's possible to run twin turbo on a mustang without much fuel management. Just bigger injectors. It won't run as good but it's possible just check out this.

A twin turbo set up for a cobra like my car is about 7 grand. And needs a complete engine rebuild, bigger injectors, fuel pump or BAP. Some sort of fuel management program or custom tune. Bigger MAF, ect. But it's by far not an easy task to reach 700hp.

The guy was a complete idiot, I have never heard of anybody refering to the GSX as a GS-10. If he truely thought that he was smart by using this special lingo then I couldn't imagine what else this guy talks about when hes refering to cars.

Dont get be wrong...I am in no way sticking up for that guy...I'm just saying, that if you didnt know any better, that might be someones outlook on that cars name. I am just saying that I understand where that dude is getting GS-10 from...thats all.

Great story. Today I was working in the shop, and I had my talon sitting in there 1. Because its a free heated storage area :) and 2. Because its getting a new alternator. So anyway its sitting there with the hood up and I see these 2 random kids that were in a tour group of my school standing over my hood and it looked like they were drooling, so I walked over and he started asking about my intake and my muffler so I knew he was a honda guy. Sure enough his friend told me that they want to race me in his h23 93 prelude lol, then proceded to tell me how much lower the lude was than my car and how they had to fix the exhaust 3 times cause they kept bottoming out, as if thats something to be proud of lol
