B16/LS Hybrid Tranny: Have u done it??

Have you done this or know if it can be done? I am talking about taking a B16 Y1 cable trans and basically putting a 5th gear or maybe 4th also out of a LS tranny into it. That way you have the first 3 gears nice and close for screwing around and 4th and 5th for highway cruising.

Know anybody who's done it?

I know people who have put ls 5th gears in b16 hydro trannies. I'm sure it's the same. You don't save that much gas though. I don't think it's worth it.
