Pin Stripe

I bought my car back in August, and noticed these grey lines toward the front of the car on the sides...i thought they were scratches at first, then realized it was the pin stipe..half of it is gone and it looks like crap...how can i remove the rest of it? I don't have my camera so I can't take pics of it ...i'll post some up at the end of the week.

well they may just be stickers so you could peel it off, who know's, pictures would help, and not to notice something like that when you buy a car is pretty bad, did you look at the car before you bought it?

yeah i did notice it..but i thought it was scratches...when i saw other cavs around i saw their pinstripe, so i realized what it was...it isn't stickers..cuz i've tried peeling them off.
and just cuz it has a crappy pinstipe doesn't mean i'm gonna pass up on it. :screwy: i liked the rest of the car so i bought it.

just get some goo gone and go to town with a rubber scaper or goo gone and a high pressure hose like at the car wash

Yeah, if some of its gone, I am willing to bet its a sticker kind of thing. A heat gun or blow drier may help loosen the glue up to. I would definately goo gone it afterward though. Just a warning, if your paint is faded at all the paint were the pin stripe was is going to look new and you'll still have a pinstipe kinda.
