2000 Caravan shutter?

I have a 2000 Dodge Caravan 64K miles, it's just a basic with the 2.4L V4. Sometimes while acceleratingit starts to shutter/jerk a bit, if I let off the gas and accelerat angin it usually stops. It just started doing this. I think it's the transmission. But I don't know much about cars. So... Any Ideas?:eek:

Well always check the trans fluid level
And also check your engine tune up.
How is the fuel filter?
Any check engine lights on?

torque converter. went out on my wife's '03 same problem
