I know a lot of you guys have third gens here, so when I found this vid I thought I'd share:licka:

i would take a third gen and modify it rather than taking a fourth gen any day. fourth gens look like crap. nothing beats the look of an iroc or formula 350... the only fourth gen i would take would be a 98+ firebird formula.:smokin:

That also means little exclusivity, and I see Irocs and Fbirds all over(usually red..dunno why) but as for enjoying the driving experience, I can almost taste it now.

*EDIT I actually see a lot more 91-92 cars than 85-90, weird, and rarely an 82-84

Wow, its been a while since, I've seen a good cat fight in here. Both are equally cool and neither is better than the other. Lets live happy ever after together before I am forced to lock you in a room with TS's hyundai owners.

it was a joke...calm down...i've owned 2 third gens and both were v8's and 2 4th gens that were both v6's.......i want to buy me another third gen v8 actually

Both have their quirks. Me, i'm not even "tall" and always bash my knees on the damn dash getting in a 4th. And shifting a fourth, ouch!! i don't know if I cuss more tenderizing my knee on the clutch pedal or when trying to work under the hood, I mean dash of a 4th gen, just ain't my thing. Styling I could live with.

On the flip side, 3rd gens are water collecting rust magnets, I've owned 2 now, and even my in laws T/A that looks prestine on the surface (which he payed a prestine price for too) is rotting away behind the scenes.

I'm playing nice, hell all of that got me to thinking "which is worse". I'm actually starting to think about taking the plunge and dealing with being able to get to half a motor versus having to replace sheet metal all the damn time.

i like the looks of the third gen better than the 4th but the 4th gen are still pretty cool.

I have a problem with that video. All of those drag racing runs show the 3 gens doing a wheelie and losing the race or doing a wheelie going out of control and losing the race.

The 4 gen is nothing more the a 3 gen with a double A-arm front suspension and a new body.
