Seat belts

Both passanger seats in the back seat of my 1996 Lincoln Town Car don't work properly. When buckled they get tighter and tighter and tighter - you
can't breath and have to take them off and start over, to happen again
in about 3 minutes.

Someone told me that they have to replace seat belts for no cost because
that's a safety issue on the car.

Lincoln told me the cost would be around $500 for one. Is this reasonable???

What should I or could I do??

I'm putting a booster seat back there for my grand child.

Thanks to all..............

Hello
I am parting out a 93 Town Car. It has the lighter blue interior and belts. I can sell you both belts if you think they will work in your year TC. Let me know if you are interested. I will take $45.00 + shipping for the pair. Or if you are close, stop by the shop and pick them up. [email protected]

Thanks Mike
