replacing manufacturer's sub

i have a 98 es300, i was just wondering how big the sub is that the manufacturer gave us and is it replaceable as long as i get an amp?....the reason im doin this instead just gettin a 10 or 12 is cuz i really dont wanna spend much money and i only have the car for like 2 more years
