i have a 98 deville, 4.6 nstarit recently started to develope a misfire. i found a vacuum leak from a crack in the intake and upon changing it, i noticed the # 1 runner was coated in coolant. a new intake and throttle body later its still burning coolant. there is no signs of it coming in through any of the vacuum lines and there is no coolant passages in the intake i can see. i dont know if this is a common problem or a fluke thing. this is the 3rd motor in the car and im gettin tired of changing them hope its something stupid that im not seeing any help would be great.

GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform these technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, DO NOT assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See your GM dealer for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
