What are the steps to disable the automatic door locking when I shift into drive. I dont use my keyless fob, I was hoping there are steps from inside the car to do this. It is a 2000 LaSabre. Thanks, Joe

I have a 1997 and the procedure for mine is in the Owners Manuel. I have a few different ways I can have mine work. Check your Owners Manual. Chris.

The procedure in the manual states the two modes that automatic door locking can work , but it doesn't state how to totally disable the automatic door locks.

Is there a programable procedure that someone knows how to disable the door locks?
