PG7 Integra ECU not working on Stock CRX Si

I bought an Integra ECU with the code PG7. I hooked it up to my 1990 CRX Si (stock except intake/exhaust) and the thing won't even start. I coudn't even hear the starter. I tried the usual installation methods such as hazard fuse/battery disconnect, etc. Anyone else have this problem? Supposing that the ECU is good, what could be causing this? How do I check to see if the ECU is bad? Thanks.

first of all, if you are running a stock crx why are you putting an integra ECU in the car? it makes no sense. your whole problem is from that ECU.

I bought the ECU on Ebay because the seller was advertising how the ECU would give a little performance gain, especially if I had some basic modification. He specifically stated that my car would redline at higher rpm's and something regarding better fuel curve...I don't know. I'm just gonna see if this ECU is working and just resell it (paid 70 bucks). Thanks for your imput guys.

whoever that was, was on crack, an ecu not programmed for your car is not gonna work. this ecu would work well if you had either an integra or an engine swap, but not a bone stock crx.

im sure the ecu works, just re-sell it unless a swap is close in your future.
