Has any1 ever lost a race ?? if so by what kinda car and what were u driving?????


Frig: I just lost last night ,by a freakin 02' M3. i was infront doing about 110 MPH when he passes me.. then he flicked his Cigarette out of the sunroof.. and took off, He kept me by 4 car lengths for a good while, and I couldn't do anything, damn i was steamed. Since i was near to my exit.. I took it.. didn't want to further embarrass myself...


Note:: NO WAY IN HELL WAS HE STOCK??:(

sorry to say but a stock M3 would whoop your galant in no time. your comparing a 333hp RWD german GT to a economy japanese sedan? no matter how worked up it is, unless you got a big turbo in your car there is no way that you can keep up with a M3.

I would win some and loss some when i had my good ol' KA motor, but that was cuz i sized up my comp. before racing.I mean, i wouoldn't try racing a turbo car or even a GT mustang.After i got my SR20, i did nothing but practice my starts and power shifting.Thats when i finaly decided to start looking for high power cars to test my new motor against.But now, i rarely race unless i get challenged personally by a car i know has decent power.I've lost to some real nice cars to,including this crazy ass s2000.Had carbon fiber hood, interior was gutted to only 1 seat.Supercharger was added, i think it was making almost 340HP.Smoked me good it did, but i was still happy to race it.i've lost to a few 3rd Gen TT Rx-7's to, but it's all for fun.

Well well... you are talking about racing against M3?? forget it... they don't call it M3 for nothing. How many hp and torque is ur Galant upto?
I went against a E36 M3 few mths back on the freeway... he kicked my ass badly... heheh... so I can understand how you feel...

I've lost to a C5 corvette, he barely pulled away. By 110 he was ahead by his hood, this just goes to show what a bad driver will accomplish as he should have been putting down 40hp more than i was.

I also lost to a LS1 Trans Am WS6, its my car plus about 20hp basically (except it looks a lot better :() but he pulled on me better than the C5 did, but i know this guy wasn't stock. Oh well.

i lost to a cordia about 2 weeks ago, i hadnt had a good race in a while so i decided to race it, i thought it was n/a like most cordias, i later found out it had a galant vr4 turbo engine in it.

Those Galant VR-4's are not to be messed with.. they can flat out RUN!!!

I Lost to a mustang cobra R about a month ago, he didn't even have to try considering I drive a 92 plymouth voyager. I thought it would be fun tho, and it was until a cop pulled me over and gave me my third ticket-lost license for a year! Lesson Learned: Turn off neon to race, and don't race what you can't afford

I once lost to a newer Toyota Supra TT. I had no idea he had a TT, had he been N/A I would have won, oh well.

well i never lost but my cousin lost to this guy who was running a supra with like 75k under his hood, and my cousin was only running a WRX with like only 230+HP he only had like 13k+ under the hood and he got smoked and he actually but up 6k for the race then he lost it i mean what an idoit

Ok, now either your jokeing, your full of it, or your cousin is the worst car tuner to ever live. You say his WRX with 13,000 dollars under the hood only made 230HP, now last time i checked the WRX makes something like 227HP stock so that monstrous 3 HP gain you cousin got could have been made simply by taking out the catalytic converter.

A supra with about 75Gs under the hood will be pushing well over 1000 HP at the flywheel if done correctly.

A WRX with 13Gs uder the hood should be looking at a minimum of 400HP.

Now I bet the Supra would totally dog the WRX over 100mph, but 0-60 would be neck to neck.

I was thinking the same thing, stock wrx's produce 227hp out of a supercharged 2.7L. Maybe your cousin has platnum detailing!

And the wrx would most deffinetely win 0-60 AWD!

Dude, the WRX makes 227HP from a turbocharged 2.0L engine.

I didnt remember if it was turbo or supercharged, but im pretty sure its 2.7L. Their is only one way to find out, i look it up.

Hunh, i stand corrected, it is a 2.0l turbo charged, which produces 227 hp and 212 ft/tbs of torque.

If it was a 2.7 it wouldn't need forced induction to make that kind of power :)

well what i think ando means is that 75k means 75k miles and the wrx has 13k miles. thats the only logical explaination. and for erricer. if the wrx was 2.7 liters then there would be no special production models such as the awesome 22B which of course stands for 2.2 liter wrx.

Nah polygon, thats grammatically correct. Your just saying that one time that you did race a TT supra you lost and had it been N/A you would have won.

It only would have been wrong if you had said something along the lines of "The one time i lost..."

MMMKk, sorry i dont really pay much attention to suburu, or any japanese cars in that matter.

I lost to a 3rd gen Camaro RS (305) in my GTA 350. I have my reasons for that namely because he took off first (from a roll). I started to catch up after about 3 or 4 seconds but the guy quit on me and turned off into I guess his neighborhood. :mad: Shortest race I ever had but I admit I lost it.

don't worry about it. you can say the same to me about domestics. i know the basics about it, i respect them for what it is. but i'm not goin to know alot about it.

back to the wrx... if it had 230hp... that would be dynoed... which would be at the wheels...

a stock wrx dynos (to the wheels) 147ish hp... so 230hp would be good stuff at the wheels... considering it would be over 300 at the motor...


there was a supra w/45k in hks junk under the hood that was pushin about 450-500hp not that long ago in superstreet... it was black... they had a break down of prices and parts...
