This car have Autobahn?

I am new here, as I have just bought a beautiful '99 Aurora. It is loaded with just about every option and I love it.

How do I find out if this car has the Autobahn pkg? Do I look for something under the hood or do I look for a particular letter or number on the VIN?

As I learn more about the vehicle I look forward to helping out other new owners at this forum. It is kind of scary looking at all these problems written about here, but this one was babied and seems trouble-free so far (Knock on Wood) so I am hoping for a long happy relationship. I have coveted the Aurora since it's inception over ten years ago.

TIA,
Lionvista

The quickest way is to look at the tire decal inside the drivers door. The autobahn aurora came with "V" speed rated tires.

you can also check in the trunk. look for a q on label behind cover.

Thank you for your guidance. The door sticker states "V" under FRT speed Rtg and RR speed Rtg.

I'm not sure what to be looking for in the trunk. The big cover over the spare has a sticker on the underside with the VIN and the words "Service Parts Identification," but other than that just a bunch of three digit codes.

Again, thank you for your help. I am interested to learn what the autobahn package adds.

The service parts label on the underside of the spare tire cover will show a
"FV4" code if you have the autobahn option.
Autobahn Package allows a top speed of approx 140+ mph vs a standard which has a limiting governer to approx 110mph.

I believe the package included a 3.71 final drive ratio & the Michelin speed rated tires.

Just a quick thank you to Apollo.

The "V" rating on the door sticker and the FV4 code on the underside of the spare tire cover confirms that I have an Autobahn optioned Aurora.

I just can't believe how smoothly the car accelerates and shifts. What a perfect balance between luxury and performance.

Thank you again,
