I dunno my suggestion would be to get a 2g if you plan on redoing everything. 93-94's are kinda the "bad" 1g's

Why do you want to put so much money in a '94 GS? Use it as a daily driver, and buy something worth dropping money on. :2cents:

Actually, I was just wondering yesterday where you (david) were.
My thoughts on Eclipses:
I love the 90-91's flip up head lights. They rock. I also really like the 97-99's, sexiest cars ever engineered. I dont especially like the 95-96's but I dont mind them a whole lot. I despise the 92-94's though. I dont know, they are like a really hot girl (90-91 = hot girl) that gained like 30 lbs so you can see some of the hotness showing through, but its just not there. (Not to offend anyone) but I think the 93's and 94's are worthless. Ugly bodies and 7 bolts. Blah. On the other hand, I may end up with a 92, I'm diggin the 6/4 combo and looks dont matter a whole lot to me since its going to be a straight up track car. It will see the road to tune, a very few weekends and trips to the track, so it can be ugly because it will blow the haters into yesterday.
No offense or anything, guys just my :2cents:.

I second that, where in Il, I live north of chicago. What exactly do you mean by shop? Performance or just body? try www.automotosports.com if you're looking for performance their shop is in arligton heights. I don't really know any body shops.

Sell your car, buy another. Or buy a similar car from a junkyard and swap parts.
Speaking from experience, I can tell you that this so isn't worth it :)
