Seafoam question

I really love this stuff, and I've ran it in all my cars with no problems ever. My question is does it hurt to put it in with the manual transmission fluid before I change it? I have a 98 z24 2.4 5-speed. I was planning on draining out the old fluid for some new. Just wondering if it mixed ok with the GM Syncromesh fluid, would it hurt the syncro parts? I've only ever used it in an automatic transmission. One more question, if it's ok to use, which type do I need, regular seafoam or the trans-tune seafoam (it only mentions automatics on the label). Thanks for any help.

I don't see were it would hurt it. Just basically a bunch of oil of some sort in man. trans. as far as which one, the trans-tune would proabably work. Look at the ingredents though and see if there is even a difference

I would call the 1-800 number on the can just to be sure.

just to let you know, but dont use seafoam all of the time.

I have heard so many horror stories about burning holes through peoples pistons from using this stuff (liek every 3,000 miles with an oil change)
