Help!!!...tranny Problems...

...ok i have a 1995 3kgt non turbo automatic i was driving normally earlier cruising at a moderate speed and suddenly my overdrive (end clutch is it called this?) didnt kick in!!!...so ya it lags then the rpm goes up...so the only way 2 get rid of that problem is turning off the overdrive...is this a bad thing?...i jus had my tranny rebuilt like 1 yr ago...is my tranny f**** up?...how much would it cost 2 repair with labor...i mean my tranny runs fine without the OD...so is my 4th gear messed up?...whenever i turn it on again...it does the same thing RPM goes up and lags...thanks...

so what ur sayin it u have no 4th gear? its like going into nuetral. if thats the case, ur end clutch has gone. i had the same problem with a tranny i pulled outta the junkyard. i ended up returning it since the price of labor was way too much, an just got a rebuilt one.

I had the same problem with my ATX:swear: I was not a happy camper and I had to have the tranny rebuilt.
