Just a heads up to those who saw "The Flight That Fought Back" last year. A&E will premier a new movie starting tomorrow (1/30) and rebroadcast it Tuesday and Wednesday titled "Flight 93". It is another movie chronicling the events that led up to the passengers overtaking the terrorists on United Flight 93, on September 11, 2001. More info can be found here:http://www.aetv.com/flight_93/index.jsp

And isn't there a major movie coming to theaters about the same story?

Heres what I got from wikipedia:
Flight 93 is a 2006 film chronicling, in real time, the events aboard United Airlines Flight 93 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Airlines_Flight_93) on September 11, 2001 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/September_11%2C_2001). The film was made with the full cooperation of the families of those onboard. It is slated for release on April 28 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_28).

There is also suppose to be a movie made about 9/11. I think it stars Nicolas Cage.

I wonder if the 2 movies are the same or different. The entry in Wikipedia states the tv movie debuted January 30, and the theatrical film will debut in movie theaters on April 28. An intersting sidenote. When you click on the 'April 28' link and scroll down the page of events for the day, you will notice that it is also the birthdate of Saddam Hussein:screwy: .

my twin brother was on this flight 93.
I didnt hear shit about any movies till a few months back.
He had just finished his military term, and just had to finish some paperwork, then he was freed from everything. F***ing sucks!
RIP CJ

I'm not mad at you guys, you can continue to discuss the movie.
I'm only mad at whom I should.
And I Only hope the profits of these shows goes to the wives and children of those who lost their lives on 9/11.

I hav only seen two people after the crash, a Military officer and ATA customer service basicly. I gav all My brothers funds back to be shared amoung the other families who needed it more than I.
