Can anyone tell me the passkey is located in a 05 tahoe? :banghead:
I'm installing an alarm and can't find it.
Thanks,
Delorian

I'm installing a Crimestopper 2016FM and a Directed 457GW in a 2005 Tahoe.
For the 457, the 3 pin connector says to cut the pink ignition wire to the PK/Passkey and connect the pink/black and pink wires to it.
I can't find a blackbox labled PK, Passkey anywhere under the dash. Can anyone let me know where this bugger is hidden or another connection location?
Thanks for any help,

Isn't 2005 Tahoe Passlock II? Here's what I found --

Part#: 556LW

You will not have a transponder box under the dash. You need to find the 3 Passlock wires as they exit the Ignition Lock Cylinder as described in the link above. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I got it working last night. It turned out to be a bad connection on the inline fuse for the 457. I guess I didn't know I had to test their connections too! :screwy:

Two more questions. When I disarm, the dome light comes on, but not the parking lights. My wife wants this option. I checked the programming and they should be on by default. I reprogrammed it to make sure, still no luck. They do flash during arming and disarming so I know they are connected. I was also dark enough so I know the photo cell didn't have anything to do with it.
Also, if it is already armed and I hit the lock again, the alarm sounds like I held a button for panic alarm. Is that normal for Tahoe?
I install the exact same alarm in my 91 mustang (minus the 457) and all is working fine on it.
Thanks,
