I've got a customer's 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 in my shop. He just had a new fuel pump put in yesterday. The vehicle quit yesterday. We couldn't force it start or bang on the fuel pump to make it have a one shot chance at starting. Nothing worked. Does anyone know anything that could be of help. Any & all advice is accepted. The mileage is around 150,000. It has a 5.9 Turbo Diesel in it. More specific, if anyone knows or knows where I can get any wiring info on the fuel pump, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

You could try a subscription at www.alldatadiy.com for $25 for the complete wiring and repair sections for 1 year. I dont know much about those smokers but if it's like the rest of the trucks it sounds like it's not seeing a signal from one of the sensors and shutting down the pump?
