I've got a customer's 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 in my shop. He just had a new fuel pump put in yesterday. The vehicle quit yesterday. We couldn't force it start or bang on the fuel pump to make it have a one shot chance at starting. Nothing worked. Does anyone know anything that could be of help. Any & all advice is accepted. The mileage is around 150,000. It has a 5.9 Turbo Diesel in it. More specific, if anyone knows or knows where I can get any wiring info on the fuel pump, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Try the Dodge forums. 150,000 is a LOT of miles for a 2004. Where did he get the fuel pump changed? Shouldn't that shop be responsible for it?

The problem he was having with the vehicle was doing it before he changed the fuel pump. The truck wouldn't stay cranked. There is something wrong in between the relay & the fuel pump.
