Parking brake light won't go out

I recently replaced most of the components to the cooling system: Radiator; cap; both hoses; thermostat; water pump. In the process, when removing the air intake components, I must have disturbed the parking brake cable, and now I can't get the light to go out. It seems to be functioning fine, engaging and releasing, but the light just won't go out. Any ideas?

Those kind of lights are always sensor/switch activated. Find the sensor/switch and disable or fix it.

Try cking yer brake light switch that is activated by the brake pedal... if it is not getting touched by the pedal(has kind of a plunger type switch) then adjust the switch by screwing it in a bit til it does touch then ck to be sure u can hear the switch engage/disengage... had same problem on My 97 Lumina and I adjusted it in a bit.... but pull the harness wires off 1st as you cant move it more than 1/2 a turn without doing so.... bit of a pain too as it is under the dash.... Good Luck

First make sure the master cylinder resevoir is topped off with brake fluid. Rule out the easy fixes first right?
