mods on 97 gtp

Ok first off this will probably go on for a bit. All my experience in mods have been to rwd vehicles, Computer and noncomputer controlled. I am planning on doing some work to this gtp I picked up and see for myself just what a fwd car can do.
I am thinking of going with eibach Pro kit for the springs, KYB gr-2 for the struts. I fugured I would also use KYB bearing plates as I usually try to use the same brand on matching parts. Is there a better option for the struts and springs? Handling and control are my only concern. Ride quality I could care less if i feel every crack in the pavement or not. I plan on replacing all the bushings with something better as well. Does anyone have suggestions on brand? Axles I plan on replacing with new instead of reman. The springs are said to lower the car 1 inch all the way around. What would be the best caster/camber, toe setting for it? I don't like to take the word of most of the tire stores here since they do very little on the side of performance. I had one ask me what eibach was. I am going to go with the GY Assurance for tires as it seems the consensus here is that they work best.
Now for engine and performance. I plan on reducing the pulley size for the SC, What is the best size for a street car. I plan on doing a chip change.
I am not planning to do any internal engine mods till I have to rebuild the engine so cam and headwork will be at hopefully a much later date. At that time I will decide on the cam size along with the rockers and fuel injector sizes. I plan on full exaust upgrade, I figured a complete dual setup. Is there free flow converters available for these things or do I do the unmentionable to a couple of OE cats? I haven't decided on mufflers but I have always been a fan of dynomax so will probably stick with them. Will I need to do any upgrade on the sensors, such as MAF, or crank/cam, or any of the other 900 sensors that are on these cars. Do I need to change any throttle body or anything like that to go with the chip.
For braking I have not decided what route to go there yet. Is the factory brake design adequate or do I need to go with a different setup as well? If the factory is good then I will use Bendix or Wagner parts (new only ofcourse) If I do need to upgrade what is the recomendation for brand and setup. I want to be sure I stop as well as I go.
Should I consider an intercooler for the SC or is that something I should wait on till I do any internal mods? I plan on staying with the 16" wheels also unless ya'll think I should go to 17"s. Are there oversized sway bars available? Well I guess that is enough for now, I am sorry for posting something solong but I am new to fwd and don't know if my rwd knowledge is sufficent for use on them. You all seem to be extemely knowledgable on this W body so I am here to get the best info around and ya'll seem to be the ones to ask. Oh one last thing on the chip upgrade, all I seem to find is from I think they are called digital horsepower or something like that. They offer a complete pcm with a reprogrammed rom. Is that all there is or is there a chip to replace the OE chip.
Once more thanx for any and all opinions you all may have.
John

holy questions.. well if your looking for the ultimate handling you can get the GMPP handling kit that comes with koni adjustable struts but they're like 700 bucks, dont go with a smaller s/c pulley until you do the new pcm, exhaust and change the restrictive intake on the car.. 97-98 are way restrictive compared to 99 up.. there is no "chip" you have to replace in the car just the computer itself can be replaced or your stock one reprogrammed via the obd2 port inside the car
