I've replaced the coil, plugs, plug wires, tfi module, and distributor cap. It's still not firing, though it sometimes fires once after letting go the ignition switch. I'm at my wit's wnd, can anyone help?
Thanks.

Did you check the ig switch? It's a bear because it's buried in the steering column, but those often go bad after a decade, or two. (My 88's quit sometime around 1999-2000.) They cost around $60, but you can get to them without a certified mechanic, if you take a couple of hours.

My brothet had the same exact thing happen to his bronco II and it was his ignition module on the distibitor. He replaced that and it started right up.
