92 regal door assembly

Can anyone help me out with replacing the drivers door assembly mechanism under the cover assembly? I broke off a piece of the mechanism just opening the door. anyone that has done it before any info would be very helpful :banghead:

Okay, lets start off by removing the cover totally-disconnecting electrical connections if any. --two main screws behind inside handle
If you are replacing a damaged door handle, there are 2 screws accessible from the inside,one maybe thru a plug hole. Then theres the linkage that goes down to the latch. Its tight in there and you may need a flashlight to see how everything connects, Good luck:comprage1
