I checked the fluid today and I found it strange how usually the radiator cap found on most cars is on the radiator but on my engine (2.4 engine) it isnt. Is this normal?
I know this may be a stupid question and please bare with, this is my first DSM, but where should i replace antifreeze fluid through? Should I put it in the plastic resevoir container?

Kool, that's what I thought, just wanted to make sure. So I should fill the antifreeze through there and not through the resevoir correct?
Whats the reseviour for?

Extra fluid that overflows out of the radiator. Water expands when it gets hot and has to go somewhere. When the water cools back down, it will create a vacuum and suck the overflow back into the radiator. Keep that tank filled to the appropriate level too. :2cents:
