i went out to start my truck monday(after driving it all weekend with no issues.) i turn the key to 'acc', and all is normal. i then turn the key to start it. *click*, nothing.
i go get my jumpack, start the truck, and drive to work. 11hrs hours later, i go outside to warm it up. same ominous *click* and no start. so again, i jumpstart it and drive home.
no luck getting it to start since, without a jump. the alternator is less than 2weeks old, the starter is no more than a year and a few months old, and the battery is brand new as of yesterday. i have also cleaned the battery wire contacts of alot of white corrosion with no luck.
am i looking a the premature death of a starter? or am i missing something?
any ideas would be amazing, as i need this truck back asap, winter wont hold off for my convienence.
thanks in advance,
johnnyb

I'd say starter/solenoid. I'd take it off and check it. I have heard of them going bad quick, especially the cheaper brands.
