well, i just talked to napa today and they quoted me $500 a head for some edelbrock performer rpm heads, don't think they're aluminum or they would probly cost like $1,700 for two, i also found an edelbrock performer rpm camshaft with hydaulic lifters for $200 and an edelbrock performer rpm dual plane high rise intake for $200. so for $1,400, i can get the heads, cam, lifters, and intake manifold, the heads seem like a good idea, specially since they come pre-assembled with vavles, springs, etc, so i can bolt them on as-is. what i'm wondering is if it's a good idea, it's supposed to be a rough idling nice high perfomance cam, and i've heard good things about the rpm intakes, what kind of hp and torque difference should i see after all that? my engine would look and sound awesome, but is it worth the money?

the heads are not worth it. that is alto for heads. And what motor do you have? just get some heads and have them custome rebuilt and it will be alot cheeper.

i got a pontiac 350, i need some new heads cause i recently changed the valve covers and seen that the holes for the push rods were ... abnormally large ... i could fit a srew driver in beside the rod, and those prices are in canadian dollars, forgot to mention, so the heads are probably like $400 american, and probly around $160 american for the intake and cam and lifter set, so around $1,100 american for the whole setup.

i can also get stock remanufactured heads for $250 canadian a head, so half the price of the edelbrock's.
