I have 02” And a cd has jammed inside the radio. It would be great if I could get some radio removal instructions.

I have ran across this page http://www.shareamemory.com/radio/ but there is nothing about the Mountaineer…. I have taken out radios that have the two holes in it, but the 02 does not. And I don’t want to just start ripping apart the dash to get to it.

I hope this reply is not too late. Do not remove the stereo. With the electrical system turned on, simply jiggle a cd in and out of the cd slot in a side-to-side and slightly up/down motion. Somewhere within that movement, the cd you are holding will make contact with the jammed cd and the cd player will eject the jammed cd. I have had two cds jam and this technique worked both times--the first time immediately and the second time took about 1 minute. In my case, both jammed cd were "burned" cds with cd stomper labels. This might be coincidence, but I think that the label makes the disks too thick.
