catback exhaust

i own a 1990 CRX Si with the 1.6L stock motor. i am looking for aftermarket catback exhaust that will give me added power, but not flow to much. a good freind installed monza pace setter exhaust on his 1991 acura integra and thinks he lost top end. since this is not a track car, very high performance is not needed, i just need somthing that will perform well on the street. does anyone have any suggestions to a good system?

Hey, I dont know a lot about exhausts, but from what I've heard Skunk2 and Thermal will be your best bets for good sounding and performing exhausts. I am planning on getting the Thermal in a couple of months; the Skunk2 is probably a little better, but its also like $600 rather than $400, so Thermal is good enough for me. But like I said, I'm no expert, just a guy with an opinion. :frog:

I've got a DC Sports stainless-steel cat-back exhaust, and I love it. Runs great, sounds good, not too expensive. I've had it on my car for 3 years, and it still shines! I've heard that Pace-Setters are doodoo.
