The rappers with the videos of the babes and houses and bling or whatever actually started because of B.I.G he brought a diffrent outlook to rap and how it is perceived thats why he is one of the pioneers of what we have. Don't blame the rappers for what you see on tv looks and reps sell. The music industry will always go where the money is. Actually while there is still a bit of gangsta rap around there is other rap that is all about having fun,partys and whatever else Ying Yang Twins and Nelly prime examples. Though I do see your point that your making It is a valid one.
P.S. 50 is weak and Ja Rule should of never tried the whole singing and rapping thing(whether he like it or not he is not 2-pac)

I like alot of rap as it is (except masterp) but the videos.... well what else can i say they get girls in those videos that i drool over:silly:
I hate when people stick with one genre of music the hate/stereotype the rest. give credit where credit is due they got to the top by doing what they do best and most of them really only rap about what really goes on in the streets almost like the news only with a catchy beat and hook that could kill.

I'm guessing the episode is actually 4 hours. I caught what was titled "The Conclusion". Beef is stupid in general, but I do remember being younger and listening to Pac always siding with him b/c i just liked his music more. I think that and where you're from has something to do with it to.

About Flip vs T.I.'s beef. It seems all of that started as a big misunderstanding and just escalated from there. I'll admit that Flips Leprachaun album cover is "gay". But hell from a sales and promotion point of view it's gonna draw attention, b/c a bright colored album and a guy dressed goofy is funny. That album is quite old now, but it's still very good. I believe it's vastly produced with freestyles instead of written lyrics.

I find it hard to believe that Scarface has no idea who he is, but yet knows two people in his crew. Not to mention they grew up on the southside of houston. Not to mention how tightly knit everyone here is with one another. I'm gonna side with flip not only b/c he's from houston, but b/c i think his lyrical talent is better.

T.I. should have known better than to go looking for Flip to see if he really "hangs" in Cloverland. That's just plain stupid on his part. You would figure a so-called thug would know that. Unless you know the area and people there, don't go. If you go to certain parts of Houston, and you don't look like you belong there or even look like you're from Houston you'll run into problems. T.I.'s really lucky he just got jumped and that's it. I'm surprised nothing else.

All these guys need to use their heads, but we all know that never works. I think if Flip and T.I. and all the others beefing could at least agree to end it and later compile an album they would see double as much.

yeah what i have heard suggested before is, and it could be two rappers or two camps, just each put together like 6 or 7 Diss songs against each other and then make a full length album out of it and split the profits.

imo, and i'm probably wrong, but this whole beef thing is just a facade most of the time. Rap is like WWE wrestling, a big soap opera. This beef shit is just side entertainment. lucrative entertainment.

edit: MOST of the time. obviously can't say the same about biggie, pac, jam master j, etc. yes, we have lost many a good talent. Biggie being my favorite rapper of all time.

at least some of it is real i know, there was going to be a Spider Loc show in Oakland last week or so but that got cancelled because G-G-G-G-Gay Unit is too scared to come to the Town. the biggest factor in that is the ongoing beef between Yukmouth and Spider.

And most of the Bay rappers that were beefin with Game have squashed that, Game gave some shouts on the radio or something to get them off his back, that was all caused by (at least as far as i understand it) Game getting brought up by a bunch of people around here, given his first studio time, etc, and then he gave no recognition.

so on going beef i know of
1. Yukmouth and damn near 25% of the planet.
2. a bunch of people and Gay Unit
3. A-Wax vs. Husalah and Ap-9. This is fairly recent. AP and Hus are in the same rap group (Mob Figaz), and they used to be cool with A-Wax, they from pretty much the same area. But A-Wax has been after Hus after bein a snitch supposedly, and recently Wax dropped AP-9's daughters name on a diss song (or something.. i havent heard it) and now Ap is fuckin AFTER HIM like no other. check this album AP is selling on his myspace for like 8 bucks or something.

They ended up running their mouths about MasterP and Mystikal a week before the show. At the show their ended being all kinds of probs for them cuz well N.O. was P's town. gun shots and all kinds of fights broke out over that the show only lasted 20 mins before they had to hut it down.

The NO is full of worthless shits. Our crime has sky rocketed since they've come here. I don't even feel safe at my house anymore and it's in a nicer area.

Yea i wouldn't doubt it. Youd figure they would grow up and try to straighten shit out instead of takin other states hospitality for granted. We got a few transplants here in fla but from what i can tell there hasnt been any probs.
Figured that would happen there in texas though. All the ignorant ones got sent there and the surronding states.
