Evo X

I was just reading up on the new evo and IMO its kind of ugly in comparison to the evo 8 or 9. The thing that got to me the most is its no longer going to have the 4g63 in it. I guess mitsu is retiring it for something newer. :disappoin what do you guys think

Hm.... is that a final version? To me, the front looks ok, I like the headlights. Hood would look better in carbon fiber Wheels have to go. Rear lights look ok, but there just ins't much going on on the back. Spoiler is ok. Side profile looks alright- I like the Tiburon-ish looking side fender vents leading into the door. But wtf is going on for the interior?! Interior looks like total shit, and it's an auto lol. If it ain't 4g63t powered, I'll pass and stick with an evo ix.:2cents:

I was in the book store 2 week ago, was read about this evo, no more 4g63 :frown: .

I like. Many people hate change but it must happen. Its time for a new face for the EVO and a new engine. Every other ricer used to say "its a Lancer" but now it looks like a monster. With time and some modifications people will start loving it too. I bet they will make badass body kits and stuff for it and performance wise. I like that Mitsubishi changed the outisde because the Lancer and the Evo looked similar in some ways like the Neon and the SRT-4. The engines are different but the outside is almost the same. Now Evolution 10 has its own look. I hope it doesnt have some serious recalls and its easy to mod.

Ya, after reading up on evo10.com forums, this is most likely a final version of it. I just still can't get over the paddle shifters/no clutch, and the interior(horrible). The exterior keeps growing on me. :rolleyes:

Go look at the Evo's on www.mitsubishicars.com (http://www.mitsubishicars.com) none of the new Evos have them. I think the 8 was the last one with a 4g63. I definately dont like the X. The overall body is ok, but the lights are ugly as hell and I honestly cant see much of the previous Evo's in it. More like they designed a car, then threw on a spoiler (still not the same as the earlier Evos) and called it an Evo X. If all that wasnt enough, they had to put that gay clicker shifter or whatever. I like my damn clutch pedal, anyone who wants to take it from me can go to hell!
