1. Street racing is illegal and if caught street racing, depending on the severity of what you were doing can result in you being arrested, car being impounded and you loosing your license then all the court fines. So all in all DON'T DO IT! Besides i am willing to guess you have a stock cav and have very shitty suspensions and stock brakes suck. Not very safe at high speeds.
2. If caught at the scene you are guilty by association and will be taken to the station for questioning and will be made to tell them who was doing it, makes and modles of the cars. Then through the grape vine those kids find out who ratted them out and your shit will get messed with. So once again you loose. Then depending on your cooperation at the station and how big of a dick the cop is, wheather or not you will be ticketed or not.

So a brief Synopsis would be...

DON"T STREET RACE!!!!

axually if ur caught at the scene most of the time the cops wont do anything...they just stop the race and look for whoever was involved...however...if your on the race strip and ready to go and they pull up...ur busted, unless u get a good laywer and argue that you were just sitting in your car...

ok first off if you must race where is it being done? Philly? Delaware? NY?

-If your going to philly then, heres what u gotta watch for.
-Anyone watching, who gets caught will get a ticket for participationg in watching street racing, its like a $400 ticket and possible points.
-If you get caught racing...they will take your car and more then likely get arrested or major tickets.
- So if ur not racing park as far away from the races as possible and just walk back to your car, and like Classicrocjunkie said if your whip isnt even hooked up to race....dont race it, its not worth the points nor the fines. (that and the fact everyone in philly is usually spraying).

Sorry man, but unless you have a z24 or are boosting a 2.2 ohv you'll get burned. If you are watching, you will be guilty by association, but they cant get your friends cars if you "dont know" what kind they were or even who is driving. Any way you spin it, keep the racing on the track, its not worth getting fucked over.

When the cops come just leave! no tickets,no fines,no points, nothing, Or you can sit there like a dumb ass and wait for the cops to screw with you... Yes siree officer sir it was me. In the real world all the cops really want to do is make the crowd disperse! Do you really think that they want to take people to the station and charge them or even waste there time to question them? Most of the cops I know were kids once to and any of them who were motor heads street raced at one time or another in there lives. And they have better things to do than to mess with a bunch of kids who,s only crime is being young and dumb. All they basically do is show up so people can get the general idea that the race is over, if you are dumb enough to sit there when they approach the area all you are doing is provoking an officer to do something more than he intended to do in the first place. Alot of things are illegal and yes street racing is one of them, but given a choice the cops really want to take down real criminals.... Not play games with some street racer!

Do you want race and learn to race in a REAL race?Go in the racetrack!!Street races aren't race, just money lost and one way to do something illegal. And in my 30 years experience as Team manager worldwide I have seen several 'drivers" convinced to be the best coming from the street crazy things jump ina REAL racing car ina REAL racetrack without any idea how to drive properly, safe and, most important,FAST.
