Hey everybody, I am thinking of buying a mid 90's manual sentra with fairly low miles. I don't have any experience with Nissan. Are these sentras reliable, I mean, similar to a corolla or something? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

similar to a corolla, decently reliable, cheap to fix as they are common cars, they dont hold resale as well as corollas or civics though. but that means they are cheaper to buy initially too

Nothing can match the reliability of a Corolla, but the B13 and B14 Sentras are extremely well built. Just take care of it and it should easily last to 300k miles.

my 91 se-r was very reliable...not honda reliable but in that area...i had to change the motor only due to a misshift at the races:banghead: ..other than that it was cool...the biggest problem is RUST:frown:

Check over on www.nissanforums.com ....I know someone on there had a mid-90s model Sentra with over 676K on it.

I've got an '04 with 29K on it. Only serious issue I've had with it is that the plug on the fuel sending unit was loose and had to be plugged in. Otherwise, car has been perfect. :grinyes:
