I cant seem to get these damn images from my computer to the internet on to AF. I type in the title name and an x appears in the spot of the picture. I dont know what the URL is on any of them either (or even what a URL is). Help would be greatly appreciated!

www.photoshop.com

Upload pictures from your computer onto there. You have to create an account. When you upload a picture, it will give you a URL that you can enter in order to transfer your pictures to a forum, etc.

Good luck.

hahahaha, that is your IP address, its just a script that displays the IP of whatever computer loaded the page.

I see my IP, you see your IP. If you would bother to read the text it says right in it that its your IP.

click on 'Gallery' at the top, log in, and go to your personal gallery, then upload the pictures onto AF. (or you can use photoshop as suggested above) once they are uploaded you will get a url. THe url is the online address, like a www.something.com

to insert it into your post type copy the tag/url it would look something like [img]www.mypichere.com[\img]

Being made fun of for choosing not to know: Priceless.

It is ridculous how much ppl will pay to fix or buy a computer. These dell computers that go for 2000+ i or anybody with a basic computer knowledge could build it for like 500-800.

Having my cousin (computer technician) fix it for me = FREE

Anyway....enough of this , we could go on forever....instead lets cut the crap and get down to brass tax j/k. This thread was started so I could get a little advice so lets leave it at that. I'm not going to have any beef between my fellow 3/s members and I.

lol. I remember thinking that once. Then I saw the AMD chip that I wanted and realized that it wasnt so possible. $899, and that was just for the chip. Needless to say, that $899 went into my Compaq Presario V4000 laptop.
