Crate motor

Any ideas on where the best place to buy a crate motor would be? Price is very important. I would be putting this into a conv86 mustang GT, I am looking at either a 302, 347 or 351W. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

i've always been impressed with the enginefactory.com they sell completely built engines with a warrenty, but might be a little over priced.

If it were me, and i had the money for something like that, i would no doubt go to DSS. Ive heard alot of good things about them. i know that you can get either a 331/347 good to 600hp for around a grand.

Yes, for just the block. For a shortblock its like 2600, for a longblock its about 5500.
