ok so here is my problem.. i bought a 92 vr4 last year with a blown engine.. so i rebuild the hole thing and ended up blowing it again in 11 miles (yes it sucks! and it was my fault).. so then i sold out most every thing in my engine bay and now i just have a 92 w/o engine or transmission or any of that fun stuff..so here is where my problem comes into play... i want advise.. should i get a front clip and build it again? or sell the roling chasy and try to find a different one? also... i want to get 600 hp out of my car.. being a 92 with the 18 spline 2bolt main nonforged crank and 5 speed tranny.. i was wondering if i should get the 94 up motor and 6 speed tranny? now if i did this.. i would need to change out my rear end? is that corect? also to add into this.. i dont know if iit matters but i have 3 inch o2 housing back and strate piped exost.. 6 puck clutch, unorthadox underdrive, intake... i still have that stuff so i would throw it on when i swaped the motor.. also.. im not 100% sure so i will just ask are they the same motor mounts in the 92 as the 94 on up? thanks and any advice will be great!

I don't think you need a new rear end *I could be wrong thouhg* but it's a good idea to upgrade to a 4 bolt, with all the other forged interal goodies... now depending on who you ask, the 6spd is better than the 5 spd, but it just depends... if you get a 5psd, get one from 93' becuase they have the 25 spline tranny...
so yes, I'd suggest getting a 93+ engine (get a 94 to be sure if you want, but I'm sure 93 engines have the same stuff as the 94s)

If you get JDM 6 speed trans you will keep your 5 speed rear end, if you get a USDM 6 speed then you will need the USDM 6 speed rear end
