1986 Ciera with blinkers that don't work

The blinkers on my 1986 cutlass ciera wont work. They used to then only the light would come on and i would have to flip it up and down to get it to blink. Now they wont come on at all. We tried the flasher and the relay. What else could we replace that is a sure fix?

Check the switch, on the steering column. Had to replace on my 85 way back when.
