i know this should be posted in non topic but no1 really checks that nor classifieds nemore.. i just wanna know what u ppl think.. so my civic resides in my backyard 90% enclosed by 7ft fencing..ok my car got me in alot of trouble in the past.. well i mean i got myself in trouble.. but neways once i lost my license i thought it be a goodtime to strip the car and start working on rusted areas and the one ding i had.. so i stripped the bumpers and headlights all that stuff.. the front window also got a crack and the inspection sticker isnt there.. naturally without the rear bumper i also dont have the plate on. my car has been there for awhile without any problems from city codes and now yesterday i recieve a notice stating my car is a nuisance and has to be removed from private property or any public road for that matter..wtf the car is mines its in MY driveway on MY property surrounded by 7ft fencing and they want me to move my car off my property.. im like WTF? i seriously have no place to put this car and my license is still suspended and i need a new window..fix a small hole in the floor get the car reinsured and registered again to make it legal and there givin me 30days... well im frickin furious as hell now and gonna try to fight this and see if i have any options like maybe putting a car cover on or something. i live in the only nice remaining part of the city and my car isnt this huge eye sore like u would think..neways this sucks and i will keep yall posted on what i can do if ya give a damn lol

Sounds like a neighbor complained about it, if you can't see it from the road. Kill your neighbor, and there won't be anyone to complain. But buy a car cover and explain that you're fixing the car and that you're waiting for your license to be unsuspended.

Same thing happened to me.. twice..
Sorry to give you the bad news but there's nothing you can do about it. You can move the car somewhere else or it can be stored in a garage, but not on your property. I've already had it out with my city and it got me nowhere. If it's registered and parked out of the yard set-backs then you're cool.

well yesterday i left a message on the inspectors v-m and i heard great news outta him when he returned my call.. he left on the answering machine that it would be fine to have the car covered.. yes covered and or made street legal or towed away... well later today im gonna order the coverking stormproof car cover made specifically for our civic.. they are so hot my friend Todd ordered one in a wine color for is stang and the fitment is unbelievable with mirror pockets too. something i shoulda bought long ago cause its really hard to maintain a car when it just sits!! on going battle with rust man:screwy: so thats the deal.. and he is a property codes inspector for private property.. sucks how i pay taxes for that property and local/state and he wants to get my car towed from my driveway where i thought my car was at its safest.. oh well all is well now
