Cigarette lighter does not work

my cigarette lighter does not work. i changed the fuse 3 times and no luck it still doesnt work. i really need this to work and i have no money to take the car to a shop. thank you.

pull the panel off and see if the wires are still connected. they may have gotten too hot and shorted. i dont know any thing else to do

i pulled the trim around the cd player, lighter, ect out and it was disconnected. thanks. im wondering how the people who had it before me did that?

i take it off all the time and forget and end up pluggin it back in goin down the road, for my radar detector
