What's your dream FWD Nissan?

I would want a VE powered 1999 Sentra SE-L. Best looking Sentra ever, if you ask me.

However, for pure speed I would take a B13 with an SR20VET and variable boost controller. Set that shit for 6psi in 1st and 2nd, 8psi in 3rd, and then, !BAM! 15psi in 4th gear on up! Highway Demon!

id have to go with the maxima myself. i almost bought one of those, until i realized a problem in the transmission in 2nd gear....they cal also carry 4 people pretty well and be quick with just bolt ons..the turbo is a nice feature

I'm personally a sucker for the b13 (I'm currently sporting a 92 turbo'ed SE-R), but I could also deal w/the 99 SE-L and VE, as long as I had the option to boost the sucker. I plan on replacing my current stock w/a VE-T setup in the next couple of years... it's a rowdy setup!

I have to go with the b13 sr20ve. I love my se-r, and I would love to say yeah I've got variable valve timing too to the defeated honda owner. Juist thinking about it really does make me giddy.

i voted 2003 6 speed turbo maxima, but I'd really want a 95 VQ30 5 speed maxima with a variable intake manifold and turbo.

you know how the 2000-2001 maxima's have 222hp(227 hp in the AE), but still use the same VQ30 motor as the 4th gen(95-99)? they gained the extra hp by adding an intake manifold with dual intake runners which allows more air in on the top end to provide extra power that was lacking from the 4th gen maxima's. in the 4th gen's the power tends to fall off after about 5,000 rpm or so. on the 5th gen's with the Variable intake(VI) they pull hard all the way to redline.

this picture here kind of describes it:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v379/BP2k2Max/419735_105_full.jpg
air travels in through passage A alone up to 4000 rpm, then the power valve opens and allows air to travel through passages A&B and let more air flow in to help provied the extra 30 or so hp. there is also a variable muffler on the 5th gens that do the same type of thing. they have dual tips; up to 4000 rpm air is only flowing out of one tip but when the variable intake opens up the second exhaust tip opens as well to let more air out to help provide even more power.

that's why the motor in the 4th gen maxima's is referred to as the VQ30DE and the one in the 5th gens is the VQ30DEK. the k stands for kaizen, which is a japanese term that means better or improvement.

I'm just a sucker for the 02-03 spec v look. I love the car and love how it's small, but not too small. I also love the way the car handles. 03 spec v with a 3.5 swap all the way! Hopefully when I get out of school in a year or two, I can do this.. :)

VQ35 motor with VQ30 box in a B13 chassis(also known as the N14 chassis)

Ultimate sleeper... no turbo induction and no VVL cam roar to give the game away, just pure exhaust note sex!

Of course, I am partial to the B13 SE-R20DE, I don't know if I want to go turbo on mine though, I'm thinking n/a. The engine is amazging and very strong.
