How do I remove emblems?

I want to remove the emblems and lettering off my nissan maxima and don't even know where to start. I can't think of a way without using something to pry the letters off and I obviously don't want to damage the car. Is there any trick to doing this?

Nevermind. I just found the answer in a 2004 thread under body kits. If you were curious how to do it, just put a hairdryer to loosen the adhesive then use floss to separate the logo from the car. Just clean the rest of the adhesive with goo gone or rubbing alcohol.
If I remember, i'll post how well it worked

But remember that will also eat your paint so you want to make sure that it is gone

household hair dryer and floss always worked for me...

then there aren't any chemicals to worry about. don't use a full game heat gun, you melt body panels aor ripple the paint

Yeah but you will still have residue from the emblems backing

Can I just rub the rest of the adhesive off? Bug n Tar remover should work, right?
