4 link suspension

just wondering if anyone has tried to make their own 4 link suspension... thinkin of giving it a shot. just lookin for someone who might be able to answer some questions i might run into. thanx. lee

You might want to talk to the guys at www.ls1truck.com They're more into hardcore mods like this, and are quite knowledgeable. I am also a member there.

What are you planning to use the truck for? Racing, dragging frame, etc.? Are you talking about using a 4 link with airbags or with a coilover setup. I've been doing alot of measuring on mine, because we're going to do a 4 link coilover setup for the track. My buddy is one of the best suspension guys I've seen. We'll be using QA1 fully adjustables for the shock setup.

well i've found my first problem... how is it you figure out the center of gravity of your truck? there's got to be a formula or something out there but i can't seem to find anything. as for the suspension type i'm going to try and build a sort of long travel style suspension like a prerunner. should be interesting to figure out.
