I have a 2001 Accent auto. When I start my car it's fine. Then I start driving and it seems when I brake and it goes to shift down I can feel the tranny not doing what it's supose to. Then when I go it starts in second, not first. and then it wont shift into forth. I had my tranny oil changed at 60,000K Now I have 106,000k. I also tried some tranny conditioner. The problem went away, then came back a week later
Please help don't want to take it in the shop?

you could try having your transmission power flushed. I had a friend with a 96 Ford Thunder bird with pretty much the same problem, he had it powerflushed and the problem went away, cost him about 90$ for the flush and new oil. Also make sure you are using the right oil for your transmission, most are sensative to what kinds they can use, and the wrong oils will screw em up.
