Sup Guys,

I have a 99 GS Spyder which carries a 2.4 engine However, my engine didnt come with a heat shield which goes over the headers and my headres look ugly. Any one know if or where I can purchase a heat shield for this engine?

Thanks

Look in a local salvage yard. The head shild off of a 4g63 will work if im not mistaken.

Found this on Ebay...use your own judgement to see if it would firt you 4g64 engine...... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Eclipse-Exhaust-Manifold-Heat-Shield-4G63-Turbo-DSM_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ42610QQitemZ8032236 724QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

OR better yet (if they make them for the 4g64) Just uprade your header to an aftermarket one!!

the spyders dont' come with heatshields. most likely because they don't have the turbo's which create hotter exhaust gas. Headers do look ugly but how often do others look inunder your hood?
