98 F150 Re-charging Problems

Have A 98 F-150 4.6l Battery Light Went On Then About 1/2 Hour
Later Headlights Go Dim Volt Meter Is On Zero No Accessories Work.take Battery And Alternator To Have Tested They Both Check Out Alright.have Checked All Connections For Tightness And Being
Clean.all Looks Ok.why Is My Alternator Not Working??????

Check all the fuses, there is a charging fuse under the hood in the fuse box. I think it is a 20 amp ATC fuse. Here is a pic of charging system.

Way2old Was Right On.two Fuses Bad And A Short In The Wire
From The 20amp Fuse For Voltage Reg.loacated Under Hood
Passenger Side By Firewall.the Other One 20amp Underhood
Drivers Side Near Radiator.
