Head Lights!

I have a 1983 Toyota Celica GT.
My problem is that my headlights will not retract upward or turn on.
All my other lights work in the car and all electronic system work fine.
Taillights, turn signals, everylight but the headlights.
I have the headlights that move upward when u turn them on.
So when I turn on the lights only the turn signal lights will turn on.
No headlights.
I had been jumping the car in the dark and had accidentaly hooked the cables up the wrong way blowing out the fusion link.
Well i went to Auto ZOne and replaced it now the car starts right up and is fine.
But now my headlights are gone!
I think i must have blown out the headlight circit breaker because all the other fusues are fine.
And I think my car automatically resets the circit breaker.
DO u think i should buy a new circuit breaker?
What can I do?
Is there another problem thats is more serious?
Thanks,

Hooking up the battery cables wrong is a good way to fry the electronics so you probably do have something burnt out in the headlight circuit. See if your circuit breaker needs to be reset manually before buying a new one. You can also check the motors for continuity to see if they've been fried or not. Hope this helps some.

Yea, but while i was reading the reapir manual i found out that it was a headlight relay, it also has a light retractor relay.
Can i find new relays at auto parts stores?
For a 1983 Toyota Car?
Thanks,
Owen

If you can't find a relay at a parts store, you can always order through a dealer. It doesn't sound like a part that would be hard to find.
